Waiting on Wednesday (27)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

If you haven't already, make sure to check out my Throne of Glass giveaway! /self-promotion over

I've been on-and-off interested in this book since I first heard about it earlier this year and I admit, I like the cover. I like quite a few of the covers this publisher (Harlequin Teen) puts out, actually. There's just something about it that catches my eye. I just got approved for Pushing the Limits on NetGalley last night, but then I ended up with a print ARC earlier today. Funny how things work out like that sometimes. Here's hoping I like it!

Pushing the Limits
by Katie McGarry
July 31, 2012
384 pages (hardcover)

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

I love hearing what others have to say about books and it makes me feel less like I'm talking to an empty auditorium, so comment away. Thank you for reading my blog post!
